There are many types of threads. We would need to analyze your skin tissues and its immune system to determine which types we can use. These are PDO thread, Cog thread, Barb threads, smooth threads, etc. Price will be determined per area and the number of threads will be used to treat that area. We do not charge per number of threads.

The thread itself is not painful. If you experience the pain, it would be at the injection site where the lidocaine is administered.

Downtime: 

Nasolabial: there would be 2 small holes, one on each site where the thread enters. The holes will be closed 24-48hrs. 

Collagen Thread: small threads are like injections so there may be bruises which may take several days for them to disappear. You would know how long it takes for your bruises to go away. We will analyze your tissue and your vascular system during the treatment; this way you would know what to expect. The most vascular areas are under eyes. 

Cog/lifting thread: swelling is expected for about 2 - 4 weeks. The level of swelling depends on your vascular and lymphatic system. Commonly, our patients experience about few days of swelling. 

 

Do and don’t:

Nasolabial and cog thread: 

do not open your mouth big for at least 2 weeks. It means no hamburger. 

No alcohol for 48 hours after treatment

No smoking for 48hrs after treatment. This would reduce the healing process

No excessive work out or intensive training for 48hrs

No make up for 24hrs where the entry points are

 

Treatment time:

1-2hrs including prepping time and post care time. Please arrive 15min early to fill out all the paperwork. If you are running behind, please notify the clinic at least 2hrs before to make sure you can keep your treatment time. Without a notification, your treatment will be automatically rescheduled after 15 min of no show and you will be charged $200 for no show.
